About This Campaign
The Ups and Downs of Independent Theatre: This summer we put on one of our most accessible and entertaining shows while staying true to our philosophical and artistic roots, but ended the year in the red. We're hoping for the support of the community of artists here in Japan and around the world to let us make up the budget shortfall on this show (estimated at 285,000 yen; will update when we've finished processing receipts) in exchange for access to the recorded livestream of the performance. If you're one of the many who didn't see the show, this is your chance!

YTG does not have savings. We generally operate at a break-even level and have outstanding debts we are slowly paying down (thankfully, interest-free).
How big the shortfall this summer is exactly, we won’t know until we’ve finished processing all the material costs’ receipts. When we do, we’ll update the full budget breakdown here, but this is the current estimate, combining known expenses with estimates (known numbers are indicated by =, estimates are indicated by ~):
Rent = 260,000 (including rent for the development shows)
Transportation & fees ~ 30,000
Makeup & Costumes & Set & Props ~ 120,000
Rehearsal Expenses ~ 20,000
Total -> 536,000
Ticket Revenues = ~150,000 (summer), =73,000 (spring), =29,000 (cabaret) = ~252,000
Shortfall ~284,000
YTGには貯蓄がありません。通常、収支がほぼ均衡する形で運営しており、現在も未返済の債務がありますが、ありがたいことに無利子で、少しずつ返済を続けています。
この夏の公演でどれだけの赤字が出たのかは、すべての制作費の領収書の処理が終わるまで正確には分かりません。集計が完了したら、ここに予算の詳細を更新しますが、現時点では、確定している支出と見積額を合わせて、以下のように見込んでいます。
